Best Keywords Selection – Getting to the Top of Google.

Effectively designing each web page and marketing your site is what will separate you from probably 99% of all other self-styled “webmasters.” Why? Because, very simply, they don’t have any idea what to do or how important website promotion is while you, in only a few minutes, will know exactly how to get started getting to the top of Google through this straightforward keywords tutorial.

Getting to the Top of Google with the Best Keywords Selection

Did you know that there are, literally, trillions of web pages on the Net? Hundreds of millions of websites. Most online pages get little commercial traffic while only a small minority of net pages get large volumes of traffic.

In the vast expanse of the web, a website without traffic might as well not exist and that fact, coupled with a large number of different web pages already online, can be pretty overwhelming at first blush for most folks. Unhappily for them, they fail.

For each of those “webmasters” who fail ever to get decent traffic, there are always going to be others who not only survive but thrive. Are they just really, really lucky? Or is there something else going on here?

to get decent traffic

Here is a little tip I uncovered. Getting to the top of Bing or Google’s Search Results is not nearly as hard as it seems.

What is at the very top? A gold mine of free visitors! Some 90% of all web page traffic goes to a web page displayed on the first page of Google’s Search Results.

While it is probably impossible to get each of your web pages onto the first page of Google or Bing Search Results if you follow a couple of simple rules it’s possible to get a number, perhaps many, of them there.

Think about it this way: somebody is at the very top. Are you not at least as deserving to be there as they are? So, what are you waiting for?

Take the time to design your web page so you can help yourself to get to the top of Google. The trick’s to design it around keywords that, with some good site promotion, will rocket it past the competition.

All that you need to do with the keywords is to grasp the fundamentals the secret formula

grasp the fundamentals the secret formulaSite promotion and getting to the top of the Search Results begins before you write your first word. That is because every web page (whether you are aware of it or not) depends on upon good keywords selection. Discover the best keyword and you will get good traffic and rise rapidly in the Search Results. Pick poor keywords and you may not get much traffic or face so much competition you will never get ranked.

Now, the fact is, your competition doubtless thinks their keywords are the best, or they would not utilize them. If you were to ask them how they could tell a great keyword from a poor one, they would have no answer because their process was wholly subjective.

In contrast, your evaluating process should be totally objective. No seat-of-the-pants, feel-good-about, page building. Nope. Your approach should be hard-nosed, based entirely on objective evidence.

Here is what to do

Build your internet page around the keywords that has both of these characteristics: world monthly searches of 3,000 or better (the larger, the better) and fewer than 80-100 thousand competing pages on Google (the less, the better).

Any keywords getting less than 3,000 searches monthly is not going to produce enough daily traffic to get excited about so ignore keywords that do not meet that criterion. 4,000 trumps 3,000; 10,000+ is even better, and so on. Use free online services like the Google AdWords Keyword Tool to find keywords meeting or exceeding the 3,000 searches/month component.

Then, equally importantly, use those keywords in your online page only if it meets the second criteria: less than 80,000 or so competing pages for the same keywords. Why? Because, believe it or not, with some smart link building and website promotion methods, 80,000 competing pages aren’t many to beat!

Where can you identify the number of competing pages for keywords you are inclined to use? Go to Google or Bing browser and enter the keyword between quotation marks. Easy as pie!
