    Why SEO Fails

Type why SEO fails into Google and read the first result. You get a list. Thin content. No backlinks. Chasing keywords nobody searches. Something broken in the code that nobody checked.

Every item on that list is real. Each one has sunk projects. Still, none of it tells you much about yours.

Why SEO Packages Are Usually the Wrong Way to Go

An SEO package is a fixed set of work at a fixed monthly price. Bronze, silver, gold. Or one sheet listing what arrives each month.

The usual warning about them concerns labels. Two packages can list the same bullet points while meaning very different work behind each. True enough, and comparing quotes properly is handled elsewhere on this site. So is what belongs in a package, along with the warnings about very low prices. None of it gets repeated here.

What Is a Reciprocal Link in SEO?

Every few months a client forwards an email from someone offering a link swap. You link to their site, they link back, and everyone benefits. That pitch is as old as the web itself, and the straight answer is more nuanced than most guides suggest.

Reciprocal links have been part of link building discussions since before anyone tracked search rankings. Two websites pointing to each other. That is the mechanic. What has changed considerably over nineteen years running SEO Company To-The-TOP! is how search engines read that exchange, and under what conditions it helps or hurts your website.

What Is the Keyword in ERP?

A keyword in an ERP is a label you attach to a record. Its job is making that record findable by somebody inside your own company. Nothing more than that. You type it yourself. The customer never sees it and never chose it.

So it works backwards from the thing SEO people mean by the same word. One label. Two fields, running in opposite directions. Worth sorting out before your product data goes anywhere near a website.

Is SEO Part of Web Development?

Partly. Some of it lives inside the build. The rest cannot fit there at all.

That part is technical. A developer makes the site fast. They keep the crawler’s path clear. Then they write clean addresses, and they ship a page that behaves on a phone. All of that is SEO. It is also web development, at the same moment.

What Is a Keyword in Digital Marketing?

Ask ten marketers what a keyword is. Ten of them say some version of the same thing. A word people type into Google. That answer sounds complete. It also fails the first time you try to use it.

Everything typed into Google is a query. Only a fraction of those queries ever land on somebody’s keyword list. So the words alone cannot be what makes a keyword a keyword. Something else does the sorting.

    Do Sitemaps Help SEO Rankings?

No. Every site you are trying to outrank already has one.

Most answers to this stop at a distinction. Discovery, not ranking. That much is true, and other pages here cover it properly. Still, it leaves the question half finished. Ranking is a comparison, and nobody compares you to a file.

    Is an SEO Business Profitable?

    Yes.

That is the short version, and the boring one. An employed practitioner earns a salary. A freelancer earns more than the salary. An agency earns a margin on other people’s output. Numbers exist for all of it, published properly elsewhere on this site. So none appear here.

    What Is UGC in SEO?

Open your own website. Find one sentence you did not write.

A comment under an old post. Some question a stranger typed into a product page. Then a review sitting inside a widget you cannot edit.

How Does a SaaS SEO Agency Benefit Your Company?

Ask that question anywhere and the same answer comes back. Signups. More trials arriving at the top of the funnel. A lower cost per acquisition than the ads already running. All of it true. Also the smallest part of what a SaaS SEO agency is actually worth to a SaaS business.

SEO Company To-The-TOP! has worked on search since 2007. SaaS clients differ from every other kind of client in one specific way. Their customers keep searching after the sale. Hardly any other client’s do.
