    Do URL Folders Help SEO?

A little. Then far less than the question hopes.

The standard SEO advice is sound, so take it. Keep the address short. Lowercase only. Let the path say what the page is about. Do not stack five levels of folders where two would do. Put your blog under the main domain rather than out on a subdomain of its own. All of it is settled and covered properly elsewhere, so none of it gets repeated here.

How to Improve SEO for SaaS Companies

SaaS SEO comes with a list. Comparison pages aimed at the products you lose deals to. An integration page for every tool you connect with. A docs subdomain nobody in marketing has ever audited. Rendered HTML checked against served HTML, if the app runs on JavaScript. Trial signups tracked past the first session. Every item on that list is right, and all of it gets covered properly elsewhere on this site. So none of it gets repeated here.

Go and do it. Then stop on the first word of your own question. Improve.

    Does Your Company Need SEO?

We get asked whether a company needs SEO at least once a month. Sometimes by a business that has been online for ten years. Other times by someone launching their first site. The question sounds simple. A straight answer depends on a few things worth working through before spending anything.

Most businesses genuinely need SEO. A few do not. The difference has nothing to do with size or industry. It comes down to one thing. Whether your customers turn to search when they want what your business sells.

What a Data-Driven SEO Platform Actually Drives

Plenty of them exist. A data-driven SEO platform pulls your rankings and your links onto one screen, then tells you what to do next. The good ones are very good. This page names none of them. Ranking the software is done properly elsewhere on this site.

Something else is worth a look. The phrase itself.

What Are Google Stacks for SEO?

A Google stack is a set of Google-owned properties, made by you, wired to each other and then out to your website. One public Drive folder, shared to anybody with the link. Then a document sitting inside it. Maybe a spreadsheet. A slide deck. Some custom map with your address dropped onto it. Often a Google Sites page holding the whole arrangement together.

Owners land on this question two ways. Somebody sold them a package of properties and now they want to know what they bought. Or a forum thread promised that links from Google’s own domains are the SEO shortcut nobody discusses. So here is what the tactic is. Then the one thing about it that never gets examined.

Are 301 Redirects Bad for SEO? | Calgary

No. 301 redirects are not bad for SEO when you set them up properly, and most of the time they protect rankings rather than sink them. I have run SEO Company To-The-TOP! since 2007, and I have lost count of the migrations where a clean set of redirects carried a site’s traffic across to new URLs with barely a wobble. The fear comes from the few cases that go wrong. A bulk redirect to the homepage, a chain five hops deep, a permanent redirect used where a temporary one belonged. Those break things. The redirect itself does not.

So this is the straight version of what a 301 does, when it actually hurts, and how to handle one without watching your organic traffic leak away. It is the same groundwork behind every project I take on at To-The-TOP!. No scare tactics. Just the part most blog posts skip past.

    Do Facebook Ads Affect SEO?

Not in the way the question expects. Your ad account sends no signal to Google. Likes do not lift a page. Neither do shares, and a boosted post moves nothing in the search results.

All of it is settled, and this site covers it elsewhere. What almost nobody asks is whether Facebook ads reach your SEO by another route. They do. And the route runs straight through you.

What Is an SEO Checker and How to Use One Effectively

An SEO checker is a tool that scans a website and returns a report on ranking signals. Title tags, meta descriptions, heading structure, page speed, mobile responsiveness, crawl errors, image alt attributes. The checker pulls these signals and lists them as passes, warnings, or failures. What the checker tells you is where the site stands against basic SEO requirements.

What it does not tell you is why you are or are not ranking, or which issues to fix first. Think of it as a diagnostic snapshot. Useful for identifying obvious problems. Not a substitute for a full analysis of competitive positioning, search intent, or link strategy. For professional SEO in Calgary and other competitive markets, the checker is the starting point, not the deliverable.

How Companies Build a Post Calendar for SEO

Most businesses that ask how companies build a post calendar for SEO already know they need one. The harder problem is building a calendar that produces rankings rather than just content output.

SEO Company To-The-TOP! has been doing content strategy work for Calgary clients since 2007. That pattern shows up consistently: companies plan content around what feels relevant at the time, publish consistently for a quarter, then wonder why organic traffic hasn’t moved. A calendar existed. Keyword strategy behind it did not.

Why Local SEO Matters for Your Business

We have had this question come up on nearly every new client call for 19 years. Does local SEO actually do anything for a business like mine?

The short answer is yes. Your potential customers are already searching for what you sell. They search in specific geographic areas, usually from a phone, usually within a few kilometres of where they plan to spend money. Whoever shows up first gets the call. The second or third result gets fewer. That is what local SEO determines for your business.
